Quick Start Guide
Please install the Andarta driver and control software prior to connecting the device to your computer. You can find the latest version of drivers, the spectral extraction script, and the calibration file on the included USB drive.
Connect the SPAD detector to your computer via the included USB-C to USB-A cable, then power the SPAD detector with the included 12V (XA) supply.
Get the spectral extraction script and spectrometer calibration file from the USB drive and safe both on your hard drive.
Acquire spectra using the Singular Photonics GUI or Python script, then load the recorded frames and process them with the accompanying spectral extraction Python script (RedSolve_script????).
Note: When recording broadband sources, you may notice a periodic modulation of the signal across the spectrum. This is not a defect but an inherent property of the optical design.
A factory flat-field correction has been included to compensate for this modulation. It can be enabled by [describe option, e.g. selecting “Apply Flat Correction” in the processing menu or setting
flat_correction=Truein the script].
Notes on shipping:
Remove the detector from the spectrometer by unscrewing the four M3 socket cap hex screws and cover the F-Mount interface with the included plastic cover.
